About Me
With an enriching experience of over 28 years, he has a blend of industrial and academic experience to maintain the standards and quality of pharmacy education and take it to the higher level, ultimately strengthening the bond between academicians and aspirants of pharmacy education. Being linked to professional organizations and research associations, he does the promotion of research and developmental activities in the forefront. Masters at exploring design and characterization of controlled release drug delivery systems and complexation technology. When at leisure, he likes to go camping, taking care of animals, and has a penchant for element collection.

About Me
11 years of passionate teaching and research consisting of seminal work on Natural sources to treat abnormal behavior due to stress, especially neurobehavioral disorders. Published 19 papers in International Journals, guiding PhD and M pharm students. Recipient of Maulana Azad National Fellowship for meritorious students by UGC. Awardee of Teaching Excellence in Pharmacy Education. Institute Nominee for village health monitoring program. Published research book under Lambert Academic Publishing House, Germany. When she is not teaching, she relishes gardening, and contributes to the institute’s herbal garden.

Things that fascinate Dr. Abhishek Gupta are Scientific & Critical Thinking.As an experienced professor of Pharmacy with more than 15 years of teaching and research experience, he has developed a reputation for excellence in the field. With a strong background in pharmacognosy, drug development, and critical thinking, he brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to his teaching, and research roles.He did his M. Pharmacy from JSS College of Pharmacy, Ooty and Ph.D. from CSIR-National Botanical Research Institute (Pharmacognosy & Ethnopharmacology Division), Lucknow, while working as a DST-Young Scientist Fellow. He has also worked as research associate and project assistant under different Government-funded projects of CSIR, ICAR, ICMR, and DST. He has a proven track record of securing external funding and published more than 30 national and international research articles, conference proceedings, chapters in books & an international patent. He is also running a course: Scientific & Critical Thinking 101- which mainly includes modules like Scientific & Critical thinking, Claim-Evidence-Reasoning, Logical Fallacies, Rationality & Biases, & Clinical reasoning mostly through Case Studies and Problem Based Learning.
In his teaching, he strives to create a supportive and engaging learning environment that fosters critical thinking, problem-solving, and lifelong learning. Through interactive lectures, case-based discussions, and hands-on laboratory experiences, He challenges his students to apply their knowledge and skills to real-world scenarios and prepare them for successful careers in pharmacy and research. His research interests span a wide range of topics, including herbal drug standardization, chromatography, extraction & isolation of phytochemicals. He has also conducted several workshops on Critical Thinking, Scientific/Academic Writing, eLearning modules/Courses, Moodle, NBA, NAAC, outcome-based education, Bloom’s taxonomy, ERP, LMS, Case Studies in Pharmaceutical Education, Chromatography & Herbal Drug Standardization. He also works as a Freelance Consultant & Technical Advisor to various Herbal and Cosmetic industries

About Me
With a cherished experience of 15 years and a Phd in Pharmaceutical Chemistry, there is no end to learning for her. There are always new classes to teach, papers to read and students to train. The profound subject knowledge, teaching acumen, and experience in curriculum development leads to positive dissemination of education. As a stubborn researcher, she puts tireless efforts to synthesize and characterize novel synthetic compounds. She remains engaged in helping young minds to synthesize new molecules through synthetic chemistry. She has participated and presented papers in reputed national and international conferences and has published articles on molecular hybrids of phthalimide and hydrazinecarbothioamide.
Dr. Ankur Gera has great expertise in organizing and coordinating events in cultural and pharmaceutical festivals at the national level and has remained faculty advisor for the magazine, journal clubs, and pharmacy alumni association. She was a member of the Ladies Hospitality Committee and led the Women’s Forum session at the 69th Indian Pharmaceutical Congress (IPC).She is a lifetime member of the Association of Pharmaceutical Teachers of India. In her free time, she loves exploring synthetic chemistry and spectral characterization, and reading becomes her innate companion.

About Me
Presently heading the Department of Pharmaceutics, he is professionally known for research and academic excellence with a passionate experience of 19 years of mentoring and training brilliant minds. Highly efficient and coherent with a good eye for detail with a proactive approach to performance and data accuracy. He is a diligent professional with a long cherished research experience at Central Drug Research Institute and academic expertise. He has extensive experience in modern teaching aids, drug information resources, scientific information retrieval, and relevant software programs. During his academic journey, he disseminated his strong subject knowledge to students in the area of solid-state pharmaceutics, product development, biopharmaceutics and pharmacokinetics, recent advances in drug delivery systems.
He established the state-of-the-art pharmaceutics research lab for postgraduate students at Hygia. His research interests are focused on the formulation of the solid dosage form and developed formulations. He has guided more than 30 students for their post- graduate dissertation work. Published papers in journals of international repute and authored book chapters in a book by the well-established editor. Peer-reviewed in international journals (AAPS Journal, Analytica Chimica Acta).A confident presenter at national and international conferences, a motivated teacher in the classroom; he is able to explain complex information to audiences of all levels. Uses current pedagogical techniques to engage postgraduate students and implement team-teaching strategies to encourage sharing of ideas in the classroom. He was awarded CSIR Technology Award for innovation -2009, Team Member. He secured Senior Research Fellowship, CSIR, and GATE fellowship. He holds keen interest in Pharmacokinetics and Drug Delivery Systems, and Computational Programming.

Ph.D. in Pharmacology with expertise in animal handling, psychopharmacology screening and Interest in Behavioural science, Dementia, Psychopharmacology. Major research work on learning and memory, chemotherapy induced cognitive impairments, hyperlipidaemia, chronic unpredictable mild stress induced depression, non-alcoholic fatty liver disease, peptic ulcer. Guided 30 M.Pharmacy research scholars and presently guiding 7 M Pharm and 2 Ph.D. research scholars. Published 27 national and international research papers. CPCSEA nominee, Life member of Laboratory Animal Science Association of India ( LASAI). Member of various academic committees in different universities of India.
